摘要
本文对传统修辞观和现代认知语言学中的转喻研究进行了分析和对比,在此基础上,笔者指出了转喻的概念本质,并进一步探讨了制约转喻生成和理解的认知语用因素。本文认为概念整合,突显,完形理论可以从认知角度对转喻的生成和理解提供解释,关联性和经济原则从语用角度在一定程度上解释了转喻的生成和理解。
By analyzing and comparing the difference between the rhetorical view and modern cognitive view on metonymy, this paper has discussed the conceptual nature of metonymy. Furthermore,the authors hayed explored the cognitive and pragmatic motivations for metonymy. The authors argue that Conceptual Integration, Principle of Prominence, Gestalt Theory provide some motivations for metonymy from cognitive aspect, on the other hand, Relevance Theory and economical principle (least-effort) explain the motivations for the generating and understanding of metonymy from pragmatic aspect.
