摘要
在教育已经陷入功利主义的今天,追问教育的真精神不仅是现代教育救赎之必要,也是教育发展之必然。教育的真精神在于教育的高贵性和神性。教育的神性是教育对于提升人性达致"人之为人"的意义的关爱。教育是使人成为人的一种精神性生活方式。教育是"爱"的事业,教育的"爱"出于对存在的虔诚而不是出于加工或塑造的自大和傲慢。
At present when education has been obsessed with utilitarianism, The questioning of its true spirit is not only necessary for the salvation of education, but unavoidably for its further development as well. Its true spirit lies in its sublimity and divinity. Its divinity is the very concern about its elevation of human nature, namely, the meaning of "man being man." It is a form of spiritual life in making man into man. It is a cause of "love", and its "love" comes from the piety devoted to existence, instead of from pretensions and arrogances.
