摘要
万州是被国家确定为三峡库区经济增长点的中心城市之一,相比宜昌、涪陵和重庆主城区,万州经济发展明显不足。实现万州经济内涵型快速发展,仅仅依靠引进项目是不够的。提出在万州举办大学园区,依托高等教育推动区域经济发展的思路是有国内外实践依据的。以恰当的政策吸引、鼓励重庆主城区等国内知名高校到万州举办高校分校、科技园,不仅可以拉动刺激当地经济的发展,创造更多的就业机会,也是低成本举办高等教育的必然选择,可以实现举办者与万州区二者的双赢。
Wanzhou city has been confirmed one of centered cities as economic increasing - point in three gorges region by government. Compared with Yichang city, Chongqing city and Fulin district, the economy of Wanzhou city develops less than that of those cities mentioned above. It is insufficient for Wanzhou city to introduce some economic projects to realize a good development of economy. It is proposed to set up university city in Wanzhou and to develop regional economy by higher education, which accords to the practical experiences of regional economy development home and abroad. To introduce famous universities of Chongqing city and any other cities with government positive policy, colleges and science and technology gardens should be built in Wanzhou. It will not only stimulate economy development and provide much obtaining employment, but also realize building colleges with low costs, which would be beneficial for both universities and Wanzhou development.
