摘要
从清末组织公派留学生开始,到民初在政治、教育制度上对留学教育的尊崇,中国的留学教育在半个世纪中实现了在观念上与制度上对传统社会的接轨与适应,并以新陈代谢的方式促进近代教育的发展与变革。这体现在通过对传统社会功名观念的调和适应,并在教育和政治制度上对西方国家的知识系统、文官考试制度、学位制度的认可与接受,完成了对传统功名观念替代,为留学教育的发展提供了条件,但与此同时也产生了一些负面影响。
From the organization of sending students officially to study abroad in the late Qing Dynasty to the worshipping of studying abroad in the early period of the Republic of China, China' s studying-abroad education realized its fitting in with traditional society both in idea and system within half a century and promoted the development and reform of modern education in the way of metabolism. This was reflected by the completion of the substitution of the idea of traditional official rank through its fitting in with the idea of official rank in traditional society and acceptance of western countries' knowledge system, civil official examination system, degree system in educational and political system, which provided conditions for the development of studying abroad, but in the meantime, also had some negative effects.
