摘要
翻译与权力的互动关系尽管复杂,但主要呈三种形式:(1)权力下的翻译,即翻译受各种权力的操控;(2)翻译的权力,即翻译的影响、价值与功用;(3)翻译过程中的权力因素,即译者与作者、原文及译文之间的关系。近年来,翻译与权力已成为炙手可热的研究课题,其研究热潮甚至被谓为翻译研究的权力转向,有着开拓翻译研究新视野和倡导多元文化共存的深刻意义。
The relationship between translation and power is complex but manifest in three dimensions： （1） the translation of power, which means that the translation has been manipulated by power; （2） the power of translation, namely, translation＇ s influence, value and functions as a tool; and （3） the power relations in the translation process itself, i.e. the relations between the translator and author, source text, translated text. The study of translation and power, which is of great significance in opening new perspectives for translation studies and advocating cultural diversity, has in recent years accrued to a hot topic in the domain of translation studies. Moreover, this study has also been called the power turn in translation studies.
