摘要
近来论及译事,总不免要在“文化转向”问题上做些文章,这一点原本无可厚非:作为后现代语境下一种独特的话语模式,文化学派的翻译观理应被视为当代译坛上一道亮丽的风景线,然而另一方面,它似乎也在演变成为一种孤独的压制性话语,一种包罗万象的翻译研究方法,这一点至少在“译介学”那里属实。本文指出,后现代语境下的译学研究更为明显地体现为一种多元化格局,比如以解构主义为代表的当代西方译学流派即不能一并划入文化学派的研究范畴;文化学派翻译观似不应独步译坛,文化研究的话语霸权有可能造成沉默的大多数。
This paper points out that as the cultural approach to translation studies seems to be gaining an inappropriate omnipotent feature, it should be refrained from developing into a domineering monologue since many approaches to translation studies including the deconstructive approach cannot be simply labeled as cultural schools.
