摘要
以比较的手法对白居易的《忆江南》和英国诗人勃朗宁的《海外乡思》进行了分析研究,得出结论:两诗可以并称中西诗坛思乡之情诗作的双璧,在写作背景、内容和形式方面,两首诗既有共通之处,又有各自的特点。其中对故乡的真挚感情始终贯穿两诗。这种情感上的共通之处为中西文学比较提供了可能性,同时也为中国文学的创作与批评提供了有益的借鉴。
This paper makes a comparative analysis and study of Dreaming of the Southern Shore and Home Thoughts, from Abroad, respectively by the Chinese poet Bai Jueyi of Tang Dynasty and the British poet Robert Browning. It draws the conclusion that respectively as treasures in Chinese and British nostalgia poetry, the two poems share similarities in writing background, contents, as well as artistic form while maintaining their own specific characteristics. Sincere love for the homeland is seen throughout both works, which is a feature that makes comparative study between Chinese and foreign works possible and offers valuable reference for literary creation and criticism in Chinese.
