摘要
哈提姆和梅森认为译者是原文作者与译文读者之间的交际者,《字幕翻译中的礼貌》一文采用话语分析的方法对原文与译文的对比分析得出:法国影片《冬日之心》的英文译者,没有将原文本中蕴含的礼貌传递到译文之中,交际者的身份没有完全发挥出来。
Basil Hatim and Iran Mason regard translator as the communicator between the source language writer and the target language reader. Politeness in Screen Translating, loy the discourse analysis of the screen text and its translation, illustrates that the translator of The Heart of Winter （a French film） does not convey the politeness from French into English and the capacity of the translator as the communicator are not brought into full play.
