摘要
证明了方程:(xm-1)/(x-1)=yn,x>1,y>1,m>2,n>1仅有正整数解(x,y,m,n)=(7,20,4,2)可使m是偶数.
In this paper we proved that the equation （x^m-1）/（x-1）=y^n, x 〉 1, y 〉 1, m 〉 2, n 〉 1 has only the positive integer solution （x, y, m, n） = （7, 20, 4, 2） with m = 0 （mod 2）.
