摘要
颜色作为一种视觉效果,人们对它的感知应该是一致的。但由于语言习惯、历史背景、传统风俗等方面的差异,中西方对颜色词"白、黄、黑"的使用和理解也有很大差别。因此,了解并掌握这些颜色词及所构成词汇的差异,对中外文化交流及翻译实践研究有一定的实际意义。
Color as a result of seeing is supposed to be felt the same to people all over the world. However, due to different language habits, historic background, traditional customs and so on, there are many differences in the use of color words'white,yellow and black 'as well as in the understanding and mastering of the same color between English and Chinese. Therefore, it is practically useful to know and study the differences, thus promoting the cultural communication and translation practice.
