摘要
目前我国大学英语教学正经历着新一轮改革,新建本科院校由于其独特性注定在这场改革中必将面临着更严峻的挑战。本文从教师数量、结构、科研能力等方面对新建本科院校大学英语教师的现状进行分析和探讨,提出只有转变观念,以科研促进教学,走教研相长之路,同时树立终身学习的理念才是新建本科院校大学英语教师的健康发展之路。
This paper analyses the current situation of college English teachers in Newly-built Universities from the teachers' quantity,formation and research ability and then proposes that college English teachers should change their educational theories at first,promote their teaching capacity through research and at the same time establish a lifelong learning concept.
