摘要
翻译过程不仅是语言之间的转换过程,而且也是文化之间的转换过程。不同民族之间的文化差异制约着翻译过程,如动物、颜色、数字、成语典故等。不同的文化赋予不同的涵义。译者在翻译过程中不仅需要具备双语的能力,更应具备双重文化的理解能力。
Translation process is not only a transfer from one language to another, but also from one culture to another. The paper aims to explore the constraints that the cultural difference among different peoples on translation, such as animals, color, figures and idioms etc. sharing different meanings in different cultures. A competent translator should possess both bilingual ability and a capacity of biculture.
