摘要
人类的事务充满矛盾,世界一流学科建设也是如此。世界一流学科建设的过程,实际上就是解决各种矛盾的过程,矛盾解决得越好,建设过程就越顺利,建设效果就越好。当前,我国世界一流学科建设存在五对矛盾,值得深入研究,需要科学应对。这些矛盾包括:世界一流学科的全球普遍性与立足国家需要的特殊性之间的矛盾;世界一流学科建设的丰富性与一流学科建设生态性不足之间的矛盾;世界一流学科建设有规律性与建设者对规律性认识不足之间的矛盾;世界一流学科建设的高端性与发展中国家支撑资源之低端性的矛盾;世界一流学科建设的未知探索性与经济社会的急功近利性之间的矛盾。科学认识和准确把握这些矛盾及其运动规律,对建设世界一流学科乃至世界一流大学有重要意义。
Human affairs are riddled with contradictions,and the endeavors to build worldclass disciplines are no exception.In fact,the process of building world-class disciplines is the process of resolving various contradictions.The better contradictions are resolved,the more efficient and effective the endeavors will be.Presently,there are many contradictions in building world-class disciplines in China,which deserves in-depth studies and requires scientific responses.The five pairs of contradictions discussed in this paper include:the contradiction between the global universality of world-class disciplines and the particularity based on national needs;the contradiction between the richness and the ecological insufficiency of building world-class disciplines;the contradiction between the regularity of building world-class disciplines and the inadequate understanding of this regularity by the involved parties;the contradiction between the high-end nature of building world-class disciplines and the low-end nature of supporting resources in developing countries;the contradiction between the unknown exploratory nature of building world-class disciplines and the economic and social eagerness for quick success.Scientific understanding and accurate grasp of these contradictions together with their laws of movement are of great significance in building world-class disciplines and even world-class universities.
