It is well ...Introduction: CMR has become the leading modality to define the clinical impact of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) accurately identifies regions of myocardial fibrosis. It is well known that myocardial fibrosis can occur in patients with HCM and is independently linked to a poorer prognosis than those without fibrosis by CMR. Hypothesis: We hypothesize that there is significant RV involvement in HCM when incorporates a CMR analysis for RV hypertrophy and fibrosis. Methods: A retrospective review of all patients referred for HCM was performed. SSFP/LGE techniques were used to diagnose patients with HCM, using gadolinium administration (0.15 mmol/kg). Post-injection (10 minutes) LGE images were obtained using manual T1-weighted, IR-preparations. Regions of myocardium with LGE signals were visually designated as fibrotic. LV/RV mass indices (LVMI/RVMI) and ejection fractions were calculated. Results: Via 72 patients referred for HCM, 47(65%) were CMR confirmed. The mean LVMI was 108 ± 44 g/m2 while the mean RVMI was 30 ± 21 g/m2. As well, 34/47 (72%) had evidence of LV fibrosis while 24/47 (51%) had evidence for RV fibrosis. Of the RVH positive patients, 26/34 (76%) patients were LV LGE positive and 18/34 (52%) were RV LGE positive. Conclusion: The high frequency of RVH and RV fibrosis in the setting of HCM is surprising in that this phenomenon is rarely described. However, there is no reason to expect the phenotypic expression should be limited to the LV. Interestingly, as for the LV, the presence or absence of RV fibrosis has little predictive power towards the systolic function.展开更多
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of aspirin in combined with ozagrel sodium in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction (ACI).Methods:A total of 120 patients with ACI who were admitted in our hospital from...Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of aspirin in combined with ozagrel sodium in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction (ACI).Methods:A total of 120 patients with ACI who were admitted in our hospital from May, 2015 to May, 2016 were included in the study and randomized into the study group and the control group with 60 cases in each group. The patients in the two groups were given cerebral edema alleviating, brain cell protecting, cerebral circulation improving, and blood pressure controlling. The patients in the study group were given aspirin enteric-coated tablets, 0.1 g/time, 1 time/d. On the above basis, the patients in the study group were given ozagrel sodium (80 mg) + 0.9% NaCl (250 mL), ivdrip, 2 times/d. The patients in the two groups were treated for 14 d. The venous blood was extracted 1 d after admission and 14 d after treatment. The full automatic biochemical analyzer was used to detect PLT, PT, TT, FIB, and APTT. The radioimmunoassay was used to detect TXB2 and 6-K-PGF1α. The color Doppler ultrasound was used to detect IMT.Results: PLT, PT, TT, and APTT after treatment were not significantly different from those before treatment (P>0.05), but FIB was significantly reduced, and the reduced degree in the study group was significantly superior to that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, TXB2 level in the two groups was reduced, while 6-K-PGF1α was elevated, and those in the study group were significantly superior to those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, IMT in the two groups was reduced, and the reduced degree in the study group was significantly superior to that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusions:Aspirin in combined with ozagrel sodium in the treatment of ACI can effectively inhibit the platelet aggregation, improve the coagulation function and cerebral blood supply, promote the recovery of cerebral nerve function after infarction, and enhance the therapeutic effect;therefore, it deserves to be widely recommended in the clinic.展开更多

The RAS (renin-angiotensin-system) plays a pivotal role in cardiac remodeling. Components of the RAS, including angiotensin II (AngII) and its receptors type 1 (AT1R) and 2 (AT2R) are expressed in the heart. This study investigates whether gestational protein restriction alters the expression and localization of AT1R and AT2R and RAS signaling pathway proteins in parallel with left ventricle hypertrophy and systemic hypertension in male offspring. Dams were kept on normal (NP, 17% protein) or low (LP, 6% protein) protein diet during pregnancy. Systolic blood pressure (SBP) of male offspring was measured from the 8th to 16th week and left ventricles of 16-wk-old rats were processed for histology, morphometric, immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry. LP offspring showed a significant reduction in birth body weight and SBP increased significantly from the 8th week. Left ventricle mass and cardiomyocytes area were also significantly higher in LP animals. Widespread perivascular fibrosis was not detected in the heart tissue. Analysis by immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry demonstrated a significant enhance in cardiomyocyte expression of AT1R and ERK1 in LP offspring. Expression of PI3K in LP was significantly reduced in cardiomyocytes and in the intramural coronary wall, while AT2R expression was unchanged in the NP group. We also found reduced LP expression of JAK2 and STAT3. In conclusion, our data also suggest that changes in the RAS may play a role in the ventricular growth through upregulation of the AT1-mediated ERK1/2 response, despite unchanged AT2R expression.展开更多

Methods: 110 pat...Objective: To compare the effects of oxycodone and fentanyl patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) on postoperative pain, immune response and stress response in patients with cervical cancer. Methods: 110 patients with early cervical cancer who received radical hysterectomy in our hospital between January 2017 and January 2019 were divided into the control group (n=55) and the study group (n=55) by random number table method. Control group received postoperative fentanyl PCIA, and study group received postoperative oxycodone PCIA. The differences in visual analogue scale (VAS) as well as serum contents of pain mediators (5-hydroxytryptamine, substance P and prostaglandin), Th1/Th2 cytokines (interleukin-2, tumor necrosis factor β, interleukin-5 and interleukin-13) and stress hormones (cortisol, norepinephrine, angiotensin 1 and angiotensin 2) after surgery and 24 h after surgery were compared between the two groups immediately. Results: Immediately after surgery, there was no statistically significant difference in VAS as well as serum contents of pain mediators, Th1/Th2 cytokines and stress hormones between the two groups. Twenty-four after the surgery, the VAS of the study group was lower than that of the control group;serum levels of 5-hydroxytryptamine, substance P and prostaglandin were lower than those of the control group as well;serum levels of interleukin-2 and tumor necrosis factor βwere lower than those of the control group while the levels of interleukin-5 and interleukin-13 were higher than those of the control group;serum levels of cortisol, norepinephrine, angiotensin 1 and angiotensin 2 were lower than those of the control group. Conclusion: Compared with conventional fentanyl PCIA, oxycodone PCIA after cervical cancer surgery has more advantages in analgesia and homeostasis.展开更多
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of fumigation with Shujinxi external granules on the strictured tenosynovitis of finger flexor tendons.Methods: 240 cases of finger flexor tendon stenosing tenosynovitis pati...Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of fumigation with Shujinxi external granules on the strictured tenosynovitis of finger flexor tendons.Methods: 240 cases of finger flexor tendon stenosing tenosynovitis patients were randomized into warm water group, particle group, and traditional Chinese medicine group according to their arriving sequence, with 80 cases in each group. In the warm water group, we use warm water fumigation with votalin to treat. In the particle group,the Shujinxi external particles fumigation with votalin were applied. Finally, in the Chinese medicine group, herbs fumigation with votalin was adopted. We examined and recorded the visual analogue scale(VAS)of 3 groups at the begin of the treatment and 8 weeks after the treatment. At the same time, the clinical efficacy of 3 groups was recorded 8 weeks after the treatment.Results: At the end of the 8th week of the treatment, the VAS scores were higher in the particle group and the traditional Chinese medicine group than in the warm water group (P<0.05). The clinical efficacy of the particle group and the traditional Chinese medicine group were better than that of the warm water group (P<0.05). Besides,there was no significant difference in the VAS scores and the clinical efficacy between the granule group and the traditional Chinese medicine group (P>0.05).Conclusion:Shujinxi external granules fumigation for the treatment of strictured tenosynovitis of finger flexor tendons can achieve definite clinical efficacy and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.展开更多

Inflammasome, a large multi-protein complex in the cytosol regulating interleukin-1β (IL-1β) production, has critical roles on the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases. Objective:To explore the variations of intestinal flora in alcoholic fatty liver (AFL) and study the possible role of intestinal flora in AFL.Methods: Forty-five male C57BJ/6 mice were randomly divided into three grou...Objective:To explore the variations of intestinal flora in alcoholic fatty liver (AFL) and study the possible role of intestinal flora in AFL.Methods: Forty-five male C57BJ/6 mice were randomly divided into three groups: control group (NC), 10%v/v alcohol group, 20%v/v alcohol group (15 per group) with food and water available ad libitum for 24 weeks, and the model of AFL was induced by long-term and chronic drinking. Human hepatocyte lines (LO2 cells) were incubated with different concentrations of alcohol and LPS for 24 h. The relative abundance of intestinal flora was detected by high-throughput Illumina sequencing. The levels of ethanol, LPS, ALT and AST in serum were detected, and glucose tolerance test (GTT) was performed after fasting. Liver lipid deposition was detected by oil red'O' staining, and liver morphology was observed by H&E staining to verify the AFL model. The expression of NLRP3 and IL-1β in LO2 cells were detected by Western-blot.Results: Compared with NC group, the level of ethanol in serum from two drinking groups was significantly elevated, and the levels of LPS and AST in serum from 20%v/v alcohol group were significantly increased, while there was no difference in the level of ALT. The relative abundance of Bacteroidetes/Firmicutes in intestinal flora of 20%v/v alcohol group was significantly increased, compared with NC group. Moreover, the expression of NLRP3 and IL-1β were up-regulated after exposure to LPS and alcohol.Conclusion: Long-term and chronic drinking could result in an imbalance of intestinal flora and contributed to an increase of LPS in serum. We speculated both alcohol and LPS involved in the pathogenesis of ALF by activating NLRP3 inflammasome to release pro-inflammatory factor IL-1β.展开更多
Objective:To investigate the effects of acupuncture on endoplasmic reticulum stress and apoptosis in hippocampal neurons of rats with Alzheimer's disease(AD).Methods:A total of 36 Wistar rats were randomly divided...Objective:To investigate the effects of acupuncture on endoplasmic reticulum stress and apoptosis in hippocampal neurons of rats with Alzheimer's disease(AD).Methods:A total of 36 Wistar rats were randomly divided into the blank group(the control),model group,sham-operated group,and acupuncture group,with 9 rats in each group.The AD was replicated by injection of beta-amyloid protein 1-42 solution into the bilateral hippocampal CA1 area in the model group and acupuncture group.The sham-operated group was injected with the same amount of sterile hydrogen peroxide while the control group was not treated.Rats in the acupuncture group were treated with cluster needling of scalp point therapy from 2 days after model establishment once a day for 14 consecutive days,while rats in the control group,model group,and sham-operated group were bundled and fixed in the dorsal position.After treatment,the morphology of hippocampal CA1 neurons was observed by HE staining,the apoptotic level of hippocampal CA1 neurons was detected by Tunel method,the expression of Abeta 1-42 and glucose-regulated protein 78(GRP78)in hippocampal CA1 region was detected by immunohistochemistry,and the levels of GRP78 and Caspase-12 proteins in hippocampal CA1 region were detected by Western blot.Results:Compared with the blank group,the neurons in the hippocampal CA1 area in the model group decreased significantly,and the apoptotic rate,the expression of Abeta 1-42,GRP78 and Caspase-12 protein increased significantly(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the morphology of hippocampal CA1 neurons in the acupuncture group was significantly improved,the number of neurons was significantly increased,the apoptotic rate,the expression of Abeta 1-42,GRP78 and Caspase-12 protein were significantly reduced,and the acupuncture group was significantly improved(P<0.01).Conclusions:Scalp acupoint cluster needling therapy improves the morphology of hippocampal CA1 neurons and inhibits the accumulation of Abeta 1-42 by inhibiting endoplasmic reticulum stress and 展开更多

Of the RVH positive patients, 26/34 (76%) patients were LV LGE positive and 18/34 (52%) were RV LGE positive. Conclusion: The high frequency of RVH and RV fibrosis in the setting of HCM is surprising in that this phenomenon is rarely described. However, there is no reason to expect the phenotypic expression should be limited to the LV. Interestingly, as for the LV, the presence or absence of RV fibrosis has little predictive power towards the systolic function.
文摘Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of aspirin in combined with ozagrel sodium in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction (ACI).Methods:A total of 120 patients with ACI who were admitted in our hospital from May, 2015 to May, 2016 were included in the study and randomized into the study group and the control group with 60 cases in each group. The patients in the two groups were given cerebral edema alleviating, brain cell protecting, cerebral circulation improving, and blood pressure controlling. The patients in the study group were given aspirin enteric-coated tablets, 0.1 g/time, 1 time/d. On the above basis, the patients in the study group were given ozagrel sodium (80 mg) + 0.9% NaCl (250 mL), ivdrip, 2 times/d. The patients in the two groups were treated for 14 d. The venous blood was extracted 1 d after admission and 14 d after treatment. The full automatic biochemical analyzer was used to detect PLT, PT, TT, FIB, and APTT. The radioimmunoassay was used to detect TXB2 and 6-K-PGF1α. The color Doppler ultrasound was used to detect IMT.Results: PLT, PT, TT, and APTT after treatment were not significantly different from those before treatment (P>0.05), but FIB was significantly reduced, and the reduced degree in the study group was significantly superior to that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, TXB2 level in the two groups was reduced, while 6-K-PGF1α was elevated, and those in the study group were significantly superior to those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, IMT in the two groups was reduced, and the reduced degree in the study group was significantly superior to that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusions:Aspirin in combined with ozagrel sodium in the treatment of ACI can effectively inhibit the platelet aggregation, improve the coagulation function and cerebral blood supply, promote the recovery of cerebral nerve function after infarction, and enhance the therapeutic effect;therefore, it deserves to be widely recommended in the clinic.

文摘Maternal protein restriction may be a risk factor for cardiovascular disorders in adulthood. The RAS (renin-angiotensin-system) plays a pivotal role in cardiac remodeling. Components of the RAS, including angiotensin II (AngII) and its receptors type 1 (AT1R) and 2 (AT2R) are expressed in the heart. This study investigates whether gestational protein restriction alters the expression and localization of AT1R and AT2R and RAS signaling pathway proteins in parallel with left ventricle hypertrophy and systemic hypertension in male offspring. Dams were kept on normal (NP, 17% protein) or low (LP, 6% protein) protein diet during pregnancy. Systolic blood pressure (SBP) of male offspring was measured from the 8th to 16th week and left ventricles of 16-wk-old rats were processed for histology, morphometric, immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry. LP offspring showed a significant reduction in birth body weight and SBP increased significantly from the 8th week. Left ventricle mass and cardiomyocytes area were also significantly higher in LP animals. Widespread perivascular fibrosis was not detected in the heart tissue. Analysis by immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry demonstrated a significant enhance in cardiomyocyte expression of AT1R and ERK1 in LP offspring. Expression of PI3K in LP was significantly reduced in cardiomyocytes and in the intramural coronary wall, while AT2R expression was unchanged in the NP group. We also found reduced LP expression of JAK2 and STAT3. In conclusion, our data also suggest that changes in the RAS may play a role in the ventricular growth through upregulation of the AT1-mediated ERK1/2 response, despite unchanged AT2R expression.

文摘[Objective]To observe the short-term clinical efficacy of ciprofloxacin+oxaliplatin combined with Shengmaiyin onⅡ/Ⅲrectal cancer patients.[Method]120(2011.2-2018.2,Department of Surgical oncology,The Center Hospital Affiliated to Shenyang Medical College)Ⅱ/Ⅲrectal cancer patients,then they were randomly divided into control group and observation group,every group include 60 patients.The control group were given ciprofloxacin+oxaliplatin,and the three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy,observation group were given Shengmaiyin,treatment for 1 month,then assessed the clinical efficacy,the immunidy index(cellular immunity and humoral immunity),and record the adverse reaction.[Results]After treatment,short term clinical efficacy in observation group significantly better than the control group but the difference had no statistical significance(p>0.05).After treatment,the immunidy index(cellular immunity and humoral immunity)in the two groups were better than before treatment,the difference had statistical significance(p<0.05),and the observation group were better than control group,the difference had statistical significance(p<0.05).During the treatment,reducing leucocyte and platelet,nausea,vomit,etc were appearring in both groups,the clinical in the observation group was better than control group(94.00%vs 90.91%),but the difference had no statistical significance(P>0.05).[Conclusions]Using the ciprofloxacin+oxaliplatin combined with Shengmaiyin onⅡ/Ⅲrectal cancer patients treatment can improve the immunidy function and short-term clinical efficacy.
文摘Objective: To compare the effects of oxycodone and fentanyl patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) on postoperative pain, immune response and stress response in patients with cervical cancer. Methods: 110 patients with early cervical cancer who received radical hysterectomy in our hospital between January 2017 and January 2019 were divided into the control group (n=55) and the study group (n=55) by random number table method. Control group received postoperative fentanyl PCIA, and study group received postoperative oxycodone PCIA. The differences in visual analogue scale (VAS) as well as serum contents of pain mediators (5-hydroxytryptamine, substance P and prostaglandin), Th1/Th2 cytokines (interleukin-2, tumor necrosis factor β, interleukin-5 and interleukin-13) and stress hormones (cortisol, norepinephrine, angiotensin 1 and angiotensin 2) after surgery and 24 h after surgery were compared between the two groups immediately. Results: Immediately after surgery, there was no statistically significant difference in VAS as well as serum contents of pain mediators, Th1/Th2 cytokines and stress hormones between the two groups. Twenty-four after the surgery, the VAS of the study group was lower than that of the control group;serum levels of 5-hydroxytryptamine, substance P and prostaglandin were lower than those of the control group as well;serum levels of interleukin-2 and tumor necrosis factor βwere lower than those of the control group while the levels of interleukin-5 and interleukin-13 were higher than those of the control group;serum levels of cortisol, norepinephrine, angiotensin 1 and angiotensin 2 were lower than those of the control group. Conclusion: Compared with conventional fentanyl PCIA, oxycodone PCIA after cervical cancer surgery has more advantages in analgesia and homeostasis.
文摘Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of fumigation with Shujinxi external granules on the strictured tenosynovitis of finger flexor tendons.Methods: 240 cases of finger flexor tendon stenosing tenosynovitis patients were randomized into warm water group, particle group, and traditional Chinese medicine group according to their arriving sequence, with 80 cases in each group. In the warm water group, we use warm water fumigation with votalin to treat. In the particle group,the Shujinxi external particles fumigation with votalin were applied. Finally, in the Chinese medicine group, herbs fumigation with votalin was adopted. We examined and recorded the visual analogue scale(VAS)of 3 groups at the begin of the treatment and 8 weeks after the treatment. At the same time, the clinical efficacy of 3 groups was recorded 8 weeks after the treatment.Results: At the end of the 8th week of the treatment, the VAS scores were higher in the particle group and the traditional Chinese medicine group than in the warm water group (P<0.05). The clinical efficacy of the particle group and the traditional Chinese medicine group were better than that of the warm water group (P<0.05). Besides,there was no significant difference in the VAS scores and the clinical efficacy between the granule group and the traditional Chinese medicine group (P>0.05).Conclusion:Shujinxi external granules fumigation for the treatment of strictured tenosynovitis of finger flexor tendons can achieve definite clinical efficacy and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
文摘Objective:ToAortic aneurysm (AA) is the permanent, irreversible, asymmetrical arterial dilation to at least 50% of the normal diameter. Aortic dissection (AD) may occur when the aorta enlarges to reach the tensile limit, which is the most lethal condition because of its rapid progression and high mortality. There is no doubt that inflammation is involved in the pathogenesis of AA and AD. Inflammasome, a large multi-protein complex in the cytosol regulating interleukin-1β (IL-1β) production, has critical roles on the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases. This review aims to summarize the current progress of the inflammasomes on AA/AD-related proteins and signal pathways to further explore the role of the inflammasomes in the progression of AA and AD.
文摘Objective:To explore the variations of intestinal flora in alcoholic fatty liver (AFL) and study the possible role of intestinal flora in AFL.Methods: Forty-five male C57BJ/6 mice were randomly divided into three groups: control group (NC), 10%v/v alcohol group, 20%v/v alcohol group (15 per group) with food and water available ad libitum for 24 weeks, and the model of AFL was induced by long-term and chronic drinking. Human hepatocyte lines (LO2 cells) were incubated with different concentrations of alcohol and LPS for 24 h. The relative abundance of intestinal flora was detected by high-throughput Illumina sequencing. The levels of ethanol, LPS, ALT and AST in serum were detected, and glucose tolerance test (GTT) was performed after fasting. Liver lipid deposition was detected by oil red'O' staining, and liver morphology was observed by H&E staining to verify the AFL model. The expression of NLRP3 and IL-1β in LO2 cells were detected by Western-blot.Results: Compared with NC group, the level of ethanol in serum from two drinking groups was significantly elevated, and the levels of LPS and AST in serum from 20%v/v alcohol group were significantly increased, while there was no difference in the level of ALT. The relative abundance of Bacteroidetes/Firmicutes in intestinal flora of 20%v/v alcohol group was significantly increased, compared with NC group. Moreover, the expression of NLRP3 and IL-1β were up-regulated after exposure to LPS and alcohol.Conclusion: Long-term and chronic drinking could result in an imbalance of intestinal flora and contributed to an increase of LPS in serum. We speculated both alcohol and LPS involved in the pathogenesis of ALF by activating NLRP3 inflammasome to release pro-inflammatory factor IL-1β.

文摘Objective:To investigate the effects of acupuncture on endoplasmic reticulum stress and apoptosis in hippocampal neurons of rats with Alzheimer's disease(AD).Methods:A total of 36 Wistar rats were randomly divided into the blank group(the control),model group,sham-operated group,and acupuncture group,with 9 rats in each group.The AD was replicated by injection of beta-amyloid protein 1-42 solution into the bilateral hippocampal CA1 area in the model group and acupuncture group.The sham-operated group was injected with the same amount of sterile hydrogen peroxide while the control group was not treated.Rats in the acupuncture group were treated with cluster needling of scalp point therapy from 2 days after model establishment once a day for 14 consecutive days,while rats in the control group,model group,and sham-operated group were bundled and fixed in the dorsal position.After treatment,the morphology of hippocampal CA1 neurons was observed by HE staining,the apoptotic level of hippocampal CA1 neurons was detected by Tunel method,the expression of Abeta 1-42 and glucose-regulated protein 78(GRP78)in hippocampal CA1 region was detected by immunohistochemistry,and the levels of GRP78 and Caspase-12 proteins in hippocampal CA1 region were detected by Western blot.Results:Compared with the blank group,the neurons in the hippocampal CA1 area in the model group decreased significantly,and the apoptotic rate,the expression of Abeta 1-42,GRP78 and Caspase-12 protein increased significantly(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the morphology of hippocampal CA1 neurons in the acupuncture group was significantly improved,the number of neurons was significantly increased,the apoptotic rate,the expression of Abeta 1-42,GRP78 and Caspase-12 protein were significantly reduced,and the acupuncture group was significantly improved(P<0.01).Conclusions:Scalp acupoint cluster needling therapy improves the morphology of hippocampal CA1 neurons and inhibits the accumulation of Abeta 1-42 by inhibiting endoplasmic reticulum stress and
