摘要
随着互联网时代的加速发展,各国文化相互交融,文化融合已经成为一种必要趋势。大学英语作为一门兼具工具性和人文性的基础课程,在了解各国文化、帮助学生树立文化认同和自信方面起着不可缺少的作用,因此高校提高大学英语教学质量刻不容缓。而民办高校作为高校的一大主体,更应注重大学英语教学改革。本文以民办高校为例,从当前民办高校大学英语教学现状及问题出发,探讨多元文化视域下民办高校大学英语教学改革路径,以期提高大学英语教学质量,培养符合国家发展要求的复合型人才。
With the accelerated development of the Internet era, cultures from various countries are blending with each other, making cultural integration an inevitable trend. As a fundamental course that combines both instrumental and humanistic features, College English plays an indispensable role in understanding cultures from different countries and helping students establish cultural identity and confidence. Therefore, it is urgent for universities to improve the quality of College English teaching. Private universities, as a significant component of higher education institutions, should pay particular attention to the reform of College English teaching. This article, taking private universities as an example, embarks from the current status and issues of College English teaching in private universities, and explores the reform path of College English teaching in private universities from a multicultural perspective, with the aim of enhancing the quality of College English teaching and nurturing interdisciplinary talents who meet the demands of national development.
