摘要
机器翻译 (MT)和机器辅助翻译 (CAT)是两个既有联系又有着本质区别的概念。本文回顾了机器翻译的历史 ,比较了机器翻译和机器辅助翻译各自的特点 ,着重论述了翻译记忆软件的工作原理、特点及其应用。
Machine Translation and Computer Aided Translation are two concepts interrelated with each other yet different in nature. This paper, reviewing the history of MT and comparing the respective features of MT and CAT, gives a detailed account of the working principles, characteristics and the application of CAT.
