随着科技的不断发展,同时人们对机器翻译的不满,科学家于20世纪末发明了一种将人工翻译与机器翻译结合起来的技术——计算机辅助翻译。它的诞生使一些领域的翻译模式和方法发生了巨大变化,特别是某些术语重复率高的行业。虽然该技术有许多优点和先进之处,但也有不可克服的劣势和缺点。就此对其进行详细的介绍和探讨,希望对当代的翻译研究和翻译实践提供新的启示。
As the science and technology developing,people show their dissatisfaction against machine translation increasingly.Based on the point,in the late of last century,scientists invented an innovative way of combining human translation and MT technology-computer-aided translation to overcome the weakness in MT.It has dramatically and significantly changed most of translation modes and methods,especially in some industries with high rates of repetition.Although computer-aided translation technology is with numbers of advantages,it contains some insurmountable weaknesses.This article will detailedly analyze computeraided translation technology in hope of offering some inspiration to contemporary translation studies and translation practices.
