摘要
根据传统的说法,三十六字母中的喻母,一直到《切韵》时代都分为两类,喻母三等归匣母,喻母四等归定母(有人认为喻母四等与定母相近但并不归定)。近来有的学者提出了"古以母读同晓匣母,并非后来有的方言现象"这一论点,并以《论语》、《诗经》等文献中"乎"与"与"作疑问语气词时语法意义相通这一语言现象"作为古以母读同晓匣母"的一个证据。本文针对这一观点,对《论语》中"乎"与"与"的用法进行了全面的分析,认为《论语》中"乎"与"与"作疑问语气词时语法意义相通这一语言现象不能成为"古以母读同晓匣母"的一个证据。
According to the traditional theory,the Yu mu(喻母) of Thirty-Six Intials was divided into two classes from Archaic-Chinese(the language of shijing)to Ancient Chinese(Qie yun),Yu mu san deng(喻母三等) belonging to the xia mu(匣母) and the yu mu si deng(喻母四等)aslo as Yi mu(以母) belonging to the ding mu(定母).However,Not long befor some schlars propose that yi mu reading as xiao mu(晓母)and xia mu isn't later doalect characteristics and they have an evidence from the hu(乎) and yu(与)as the interrogative mood word in the Analects of confucius(《论语》)、The Book f Poetry(《诗经》)and so on.After an overall analysis and proof,this paper comes to a conclusion that the Hu and Yu as the interrogative mood word in the Analects of comfucius is hardly an evidence for Yi mu read as Xiao mu and Xia mu isn't later dialect characteristics.
