摘要
纳博科夫曾在多部作品中尝试以非传统的方式撰写'作家传记'、展开大胆的传记实验。从形式上看,他打破了传记以散文为主体的形式惯例,尝试了诗歌、小说、文学评传等多种艺术样式;从内容来说,他利用作家所创作的作品为其生命历程做注解,以不同主题串联相关的人与事,聚焦抽象的意识和情感,放逐看似客观的枯燥表象。纳博科夫的传记实验消解了传统传记对线性叙事和客观真实的追求,并与传记写作中捕风捉影、猎奇翻新、哗众取宠的做法形成对抗。'作家传记'是纳博科夫以诗性的方式再现作家个人史的努力,他对真实与虚构、历史与艺术等问题的探索,透露出其独特的真实观和历史观。
Vladimir Nabokov tried literary biography in an unconventional way in many of his works and carried out the bold biographical experiments.In terms of the art form,he breaks the prosaic form by using the form of poetry,novel,literary review and so on.In terms of the content,he interprets writers’ lives by reviewing their art works.He also integrates different themes with the people and accidents concerned,then focuses on abstract consciousness and emotions instead of boring appearance.Nabokov’s experiment deconstructs his pursuit of linear narrative and objectivity which are emphasized in conventional biography.His experiment is in contrast with some practice,such as groundless accusations,novelty pursuit and sensationalism,which occur regularly in life writing.Nabokov’s literary biography indicates his effort to reconstruct writers’ life stories in a poetic way.His exploration of such problems as reality and fiction,history and art,manifests his unique conception of reality and history.
