摘要
在分析了专门用途英语的性质、特点和教学目的的基础上,本文提出了以"任务式的教学"转变专门用途英语教学模式,提高专门用途英语学习效果的主张,并描述了"任务式教学法"在专门用途英语教学环境下的运作形式和特点。
Based upon the in-depth analysis of English for Special Purposes(ESP)in terms of its nature,purposes and characteristics,the article suggests that task-oriented pedagogy should be applied as an effective strategy to enhance the teaching learning process of ESP.
