摘要
本文分析对外宣传资料英译过程的策略 ,包括翻译的形象表达 ,构词法的使用 ,汉语中“同义反复”(tautology)及对偶排比结构的处理 ,借鉴英语中的相应表达 ,深刻理解原文 ,解释性翻译和不合理译名的更新等八个方面 ,以期提高对外宣传资料英译的质量。
The paper focuses on eight aspects of translation for chinese special words and expressions into English, which includes the figurative expression, the reliance on word formation patterns, tautology, parallel structures, expressions of native speakers, deep understanding of the original, explanation and improvement on inappropriate translations. All these efforts are aimed to improve the C-E translation for international communication.
