摘要
戴震是清代著名的经学解释者,他的经学解释学包含着两个典型的命题,一个理想性的目标。第一个命题是'由字通词,由词通道'语言学解释学。第二个命题是'一字之义,当贯群经,本六书然后为定'。其理想性的目标是通过上述两个命题达到'十分之见'的理想性目标。此外,戴震的经学解释学还十分重视经文中的古典科技史、制度史等相关知识,认为对这些知识的正确理解有助于准确的解经。文章借助现代哲学解释学理论及其所包含的'解释的循环'观念,尝试将戴震所开创的经学解释学转化成经典解释学,如'由字通词,由词通道'可以转化为'由字通词,由词通义';'一字之义,当贯群经',可以转化为'一字之义,当贯群典'或'当贯整体'。将其经学解释学中所包含的'解释的循环'的思想予以普遍化。
Dai Zhen is a famous commentator of the Qing Dynasty in traditional Confucian Classics,on which he has two theses and one ideal goal.The first thesis is the linguistic hermeneutic principle,which claims to'understand the Dao through words,and words through characters';the second of which contends that'the formation of each characters meaning is based on exhausting all Classics and the six ways of character composition'.The ideal goal is to attain a comprehensive insight through the methods stated above.Moreover,in his studies,Dai also attaches great importance to the history of science and technology and the history of institutions related to the text of the Classics,which,he believes are useful for us to understand the Classics correctly.This paper,by borrowing some modern philosophical hermeneutic theories,especially the notion of'hermeneutic circle,'seeks to transform Dais hermeneutics of traditional orthodox Classics studies into modern hermeneutics of classics.For instance,to understand his above ideas by'understand the meaning through words,and words through characters',and'exhausting all relevant classic texts'.In this way,this paper concludes,the notion of'hermeneutic circle'inherent in Dais hermeneutics studies can be generalized to all classic texts.
