摘要
道德教育理论与实践必须以对道德学习的洞察为基础。已有的道德学习理论虽然各有贡献,但也存在这样那样的不足,发展出一种新的道德学习理论十分必要。从道德学习在生活中的发生来看,我们是以先天的道德本能为基础,通过接受暗示、服从要求、行动、选择与思考等方式来进行道德学习的。不同的道德学习方式不是孤立存在的,而是交互融合在一起的,你中有我,我中有你。实质上,道德学习不是认识性的,而是存在性的,我们不是将道德作为认识对象来学习,而是以生活与存在的过程作为道德学习过程的。
Moral education is based on moral learning,just as the theory and practice of moral education must be based on theories of moral learning.Existing theories of moral learning may all have something to offer,but may also have weaknesses one way or another.That’s why it’s necessary to develop a new theory of moral learning.Judging from the way moral learning occurs in life,we all engage in moral learning based on our native moral instinct and by means of receiving hints,meeting requirements,taking action,making choices,and active thinking.Receiving hints is an unconscious way of moral learning,but it can reach the depth of life beyond the reach of our consciousness.As social beings,we must see obedience to others and compliance with social requirements as normal.This is also a main way for us to engage in moral learning.As men are action takers,action is equivalent to learning.Moral action is just another way of moral learning.Meanwhile,as thinkers,people are always faced with the challenge of making judgment and choices.Thinking and choosing are rational and conscious ways of moral learning.Different ways of moral learning do not exist secluded,but are actually intermingled into one.Basically,moral learning is not cognitive but existential.We do not study morality as an object of cognition,but see the process of life and existence as the process of moral learning.
