摘要
为改进外语教学,适应时代的要求,教学路向的创新势在必行.语用学研究特定语境下话语的产出和理解,提供了重新审视外语教学的视角,为外语教学指出新的路向.外语教学中的语用路向即外语教学中的语用学方法论,它包括语用行事说、语用推理说、语用文化说、语用语境说和语用效能说等构成要素,旨在培养和提高学习者具有言有所为、言蕴所含、含则能解、文化相知、言必达效等语用能力.作者指出,语用学对外语教学的启示作用和应用价值不容低估,语用学与当前二语习得理论与实践之间的关系越来越密切了.
It is necessary to introduce new approaches to FLT (foreign language teaching) so as to improve our work and meet the needs of the time. Pragmatics studies the production and comprehension of discourses in specific contexts, which makes it possible to reexamine the present ways to teach language and explore a new approach - the pragmatic approach to FLT. This new approach is based on the theories of pragmaperformative, pragmainferential, pragmacultural, pragmacontextual and pragmaefficient notions. It aims to cultivate and enhance the learners' ability to speak for functional purposes, to mean more than what is said, to understand what is implied, so that the learners can be culturally informed and able to communicate efficiently. The authors hold that pragmatics is of great importance in foreign language teaching, and they have noticed the close relationship between pragmatics and the new attempt of theory and practice for second language acquisition.
