摘要
本研究采用开放性角色扮演任务,分析了不同水平的中国英语学习者在请求策略和话语序列方面的分布差异。会话分析显示,学习者均偏好使用规约性间接请求策略,较少使用直接请求策略。话语序列结果表明,中等水平学习者的第一话步及会话修正的出现频次均高于高水平学习者。同时,由于无法理解会话含义,两组学习者的他人会话修正次数相同。本研究对加强有关会话含义的语用教学及开放性角色扮演任务的应用具有一定的借鉴意义。
The study investigated request strategies and sequential organization of intermediate and advanced Chinese EFL learners during open role-play tasks of requests.Using the conversation analysis approach,the results revealed a clear preference for conventional indirect strategies and less use of direct strategies among all learners.As for the sequential organization,compared with the advanced learners,the intermediate learners generated more first pair part and repair in their interaction throughout the open role-play.Besides,the occurrence of repair caused by failing to understand conversational implicature of the interlocutor was identical for two groups.Implications for integrating conversational implicature into pragmatic instructions and further application of the open role-play task have also been discussed in the study.
