摘要
实验测试了掺钇 (Y)的钨酸铅 (PbWO4 )晶体的热释光和光释光。晶体在 15 0℃左右和 2 10℃左右有明显热释光峰 ,其中 15 0℃峰具有好的线性剂量响应 ,且在 10 0 0Gy剂量下仍没有达到饱和。实验测量了其光释光的剂量响应 ,发现光释光在较小的剂量下即达到饱和 ,这说明 15 0℃左右对应的热释光陷阱与产生光释光的光敏陷阱是不同的。实验还观测到蓝光可以激发出紫外线 ,而红外不能激发出可见光。
Thermoluminescence (TL) and optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) of PbWO_4(PWO) crystal doped with Y 3+ is investigated. There are obvious TL peaks at about 150 ℃ and 210 ℃. The TL peak at 150 ℃ has good linear response to radiation, and is not saturated at 1 000 Gy. The OSL of PWO:Y is saturated even in 15 Gy. It indicates that the traps related to TL about 150 ℃ is not similar to that for OSL. It is observed that ultraviolet radiation can be produced from PWO:Y when the crystal is stimulated by blue light, but no invisible light can be observed when the crystal is stimulated by infrared radiation.
