摘要
在简述RTP协议原理和MPEG 4编码特性的基础上提出了适用于MPEG 4视频传输的RTP载荷格式及组包算法,同时具有传输的高效性和丢包的鲁棒性。并采用基于RTP/RTCP的端到端反馈拥塞控制,使整个传输过程既能充分利用带宽又不引起网络拥塞,从而减小时延,降低丢包率。实验证明提出的基于RTP的MPEG 4传输方法能获得良好视觉质量并充分利用带宽。
In this paper,based on the principium of RTP and the features of MPEG4 standard,we put forward a RTP payload format and a packetization algorithm for MPEG4 video which achieves both efficiency and robustnessWe present an endtoend feedback congestion control scheme based on RTP/RTCPSimulation results show that our scheme achieves good perceptual picture quality for MPEG4 video under low bitrate and varying network conditions and efficiently utilizes network resources.
