摘要
大学英语教师的教学实践表明,非英语专业学生的整体阅读水平较为低下。面对此现状,教学和科研人员都在积极地探索有效的教学方法。英语阅读策略的研究是此类研究中的重要组成部分。本研究将继续以英语阅读策略的应用为主题,试图发现不同性别的阅读者在应用阅读策略时表现出的差异性,期望研究结果能为大学英语教学工作者带来一定的启示。
College English teachers' teaching practice shows that non-English major's overall reading level is comparatively low. Confronted with the situation, teachers and researchers are making great effort to explore effective teaching methods. The studies on English reading strategies are an important part of such studies. Taking English reading strategies as the study topic, the author will try to find out the differences of the readers with different genders when applying reading strategies, hoping that the findings can provide certain enlightenment for college English teachers.
