摘要
高校成人英语教学研究表明,学习者内在情感是影响其英语习得效果的重要因素,尤其是针对成人学生群体的特殊性,研究情感因素对成人英语学习的影响十分必要。本文基于"人本主义理论"和"情感过滤假说",借助"外语课堂焦虑量表"、"自信心量表"和"动机描述统计"等工具,对成人学生动机、自信和焦虑展开调查,并结合调查分析结果,从教师和学生两个维度探讨情感因素推动成人学生更好英语学习的策略建议。
The study of adult English teaching in Colleges and universities shows that learners’internal emotion is an important factor affecting their English acquisition.Especially in view of the particularity of adult students,it is necessary to study the influence of emotional factors on adult English learning.Based on the humanistic theory and the affective filtering hypothesis,this paper investigates the motivation,self-confidence and anxiety of adult students by means of the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale,Self-confidence Scale and Motivation Description Statistics,based on the findings of the survey,this paper explores the strategies and suggestions of affective factors to promote adult students’better English learning from the perspectives of teachers and students.
