摘要
本研究以话语填充任务作为问卷,调查了少数民族地区师范院校学生"请求"的英语语用能力。主要有三点发现:一、学习者的英语语用能力普遍比较低;二、英语语言水平和英语语用能力并没有显著的相关关系,但总体上不同水平学习者的英语语用能力是有差异的。中低水平学习者的英语语用能力显著高于低水平学习者的英语语用能力;三、学习者不能根据语境变化改变英语的"请求"语用策略。具体表现为句子结构单一,使用的请求中心语大多是疑问句。
The present study,using discourse completion tasks as questionnaire,has a survey on the minority ethnic college learner’s English pragmatic competence in the speech act of request.The major findings are:1.learners’ English pragmatic competence is inadequate in average.2.English pragmatic competence does not correlate with English proficiency,but learners with different proficiency level do differ significantly in their pragmatic competence.The learners with mid-low proficiency level have better pragmatic competence than that of the learners with low proficiency level.3.Learners do not have a command on the full range of English pragmatic strategies of request.Specifically,they do not vary sentence structure as context differs,most request head acts being interrogative sentences.
