摘要
Spermatogenesis is one of the most complicated cell differentiation processes in animals, which consists of mitosis, meiosis, and the post-meiotic phase of male germ cell development, i.e.,spermiogenesis. Mitosis is responsible for germline maintenance,while meiosis reduces the chromosome number by half and creates genetic diversity in the sperm.
