摘要
在“积极应对人口老龄化”国家战略背景下,主流媒体塑造的老年人形象不仅折射出当下社会对老年人的态度,同时反过来进一步影响和建构老年人形象。基于此,以中国主流媒体关于老龄化的报道为语料,运用扩展意义单位模型,描写以“老年人”为节点词的意义单位的型式特征,据此解读老年人媒介形象,发现“老年人”所在的1200行索引行中,四种类联接型式共占比88.4%,其中“老年人”处于主语和宾语位置分别占比29%和71%,一定程度上反映了老年人的被动的形象特征。此外,通过对扩展意义单位序列的搭配词、类联接、语义倾向和语义韵特征的分析发现,媒体话语中突出的老年人形象还包括:体弱多病但积极应对的老者,初涉数字化的探索者,社区依赖的居家老人,消费市场的潜在购买力,保障的受益者、弱势群体与关怀对象。
Under the national strategic initiative of“actively addressing population aging”,the image of the elderly shaped by mainstream media in China not only reflects the current social attitudes towards the elderly,but also further influences and constructs the image of the elderly.Based on this,this study uses reports on aging from mainstream media in China as corpus,applies the extended unit of meaning model,describes the pattern features of the units of meaning with“elderly”as the node word,and interprets the media image of the elderly accordingly.It is found that in the 1,200 index lines where“elderly”is located,four colligational patterns accounted for 88.4%,with“elderly”in the subject and object positions accounting for 29%and 71%respectively,reflecting to some extent the passive image characteristics of the elderly.In addition,through the analysis of the units of meaning in terms of collocation,colligation,semantic preference and semantic prosody,it is found that the prominent images of the elderly in the media include the weak and sick elderly who are actively coping,the explorers who are new to digitalization,the home-based elderly who are community-dependent,the potential buyers in the consumer market and the participants,beneficiaries and the disadvantaged in social security.
