摘要
语料库语言学的发展和线上语料库的出现为近义词辨析提供了新的研究方法。文章采用英国国家语料库(BNC),以基于语料库的研究方法从使用语域、搭配词及语义韵特征等方面对“abnormal”和“uncommon”这组近义动词进行比较研究,发现该组近义词存在差异。文章旨在对英语学习者在词汇使用上给予启示,帮助他们运用语料库提高英语学习效率。
The development of corpus linguistic and the establishment of online corpora have provided a new research method for Eng-lish learners to discriminate synonyms.Based on the British National Corpus(BNC),this research aims to distinguish"abnormal"and uncommon"in terms of register,collocates and semantic prosody,finding that there are differences between the two words.This research hopes to enlighten English learners in their vocabulary use and help them use the corpus to improve their English learning efficiency.
