With the changes in national economic level, people's living habits, and the proportion of dietary structure, the incidence of metabolic associated fatty liver disease is showing a sharp upward trend, and has now become the largest chronic liver disease in China. At present, there is no drug that can fully and definitely evaluate its therapeutic effect on this disease. How to prevent and treat metabolic associated fatty liver disease from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment is an important clinical issue.Professor Leng Yan,based on the theory of"Strengthening the soil and nourishing the wood",analyzed and summarized this disease into three stages(spleen qi deficiency, stagnation of food accumulation;spleen yang deficiency, yin fire burning fat stage;spleen blood loss, overflow stasis blocking collaterals stage). He used the"strengthening the spleen and three transformations"method(strengthening the spleen to transform accumulation, strengthening the spleen to transform burning, and strengthening the spleen to transform blood stasis)for syndrome differentiation and treatment, achieving significant therapeutic effects, and providing a certain idea for the prevention and treatment of metabolic associated fatty liver disease with traditional Chinese medicine.
