场域-惯习视域下大学排名的局限性与破解策略——以QS、THE、ARWU世界大学排名为例

摘要 大学排名通过简约的符号来表征内涵极为丰富的大学,具有重可量化指标轻非量化指标、重科研指标轻教学指标、重自然学科轻人文学科的局限,且存在地域和语言歧视。在布迪厄场域理论视角下,大学排名作为一种符号资本一旦被确立,直接关乎高校所能获得的经济资本、社会资本和文化资本,易对政府、高校、教师及学生等主体形成裹挟,其负面效应正不断显现。基于此,政府应加强对大学排名的监管与引导,推动高校办学信息公开;排名机构应提升行业自律,在对大学进行分层分类的基础上优化排名指标体系;高校在排名面前应保持理性与定力,扎根中国大地办教育,将立德树人根本任务贯穿人才培养全过程。 The reduced symbols are used to represent universities with rich connotations in university rankings.It is limited by valuing quantifiable indicators over non-quantitative indicators,scientific research indicators over teaching indicators,and natural disciplines over humanities.There is regional and linguistic discrimination at the same time.From the perspective of Bourdieu’s field theory,once university ranking,as a symbolic capital,is established,it is directly related to the economic,social and cultural capital that universities can obtain,which forms a binding effect on the government,universities,teachers and students and other subjects,and its negative effects continue to emerge.Based on this,the ranking institutions should enhance the self-discipline of the industry and optimize the ranking index system based on the classification of universities.In the face of ranking,universities should maintain rationality and concentration and take root in China’s education with the fundamental task of cultivating people running through the whole process of talent training.
