应用SPSS23.0软件进行统计学分析。
Objective:This study explores the application effects of standardized patients in undergraduate clinical practice teaching ofcariology and endodontology, aiming to stimulate students'initiative in learning, enhance clinical thinking abilities, and alleviate the shortage of teaching resources.Methods:Fifty-three five-year dental students were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group received clinical practice teaching with standardized patients, while the control group underwent traditional apprenticeship teaching mainly through outpatient demonstrations. The teaching effects were evaluated through practical assessments, final exams, and questionnaire surveys.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 23.0 software. Results:The average scores of the experimental group in practical assessments, final exams, and case analyses were superior to those of the control group.Specifically, the scores in practical assessments and final exams showed statistical significance(P<0.05).Questionnaire results indicated student acceptance and approval of this teaching model. Conclusion:Introducing standardized patients into clinical practice teaching of cariology and endodontology improves teaching quality and students'practical skills, contributing to the development of clinical thinking abilities.
