摘要
以4,4'-双(6-羟基己氧基)联苯(BHHBP)为液晶基元,同时选用衣康酸(IA)和苯基丁二酸(PSA)采用无规共聚,合成了一系列IA添加量不同的含有甲叉基侧基的联苯液晶共聚酯(LCPs)。通过在液晶态对其进行拉伸取向,然后利用紫外光照射引发交联的方法,制备获得了单畴取向的联苯液晶弹性体(LCEs)。研究了光交联单体含量对LCPs的相变行为和LCEs的热致可逆驱动的影响。结果表明,IA的引入使LCPs仍表现出长程层间的有序性,既保留有近晶结构,同时又升高了近晶相-各向同性相相变温度。当IA的添加量达到30%时,液晶相转变温度也从70.4℃上升至80.6℃。此外,发现当引入IA到达一定量时,材料可以获得更为完善的交联网络构型,同时也赋予其可观的可逆形状致动度。
A series of biphenyl liquid crystalline copolyesters(LCPs)containing methylene groups with different itaconic acid(IA)contents were synthesized with IA,phenyl succinic acid(PSA)and 4,4'-bis(6-hydroxyhexyloxy)biphenyl(BHHBP)by random copolymerization.The biphenyl liquid crystal elastomer(LCEs)with single domain orientation was prepared by stretching orientation at liquid crystal transition temperature and then crosslinking induced by UV irradiation.The effects of the content of photocrosslinked monomer on the phase transition behavior of LCPs and the thermally induced reversible driving of LCEs were studied.The results show that with the introduction of IA,LCPs still shows long-range interlayer order,that is,smectic structure is retained,and the smectic-isotropic phase transition temperature is increased.When the addition of IA reaches 30%,the liquid crystal phase transition temperature also increases from 70.4℃to 80.6℃.In addition,it is found that when the introduction of IA reaches a certain amount,the material can obtain a more complete cross-linking network configuration,and it will also be endowed with a considerable degree of reversible shape excitation.
