Objective:The purpose of the current study was to examine the developmental trajectories of depressive symptoms and its relationship with resilience and insecure attachment. Methods:A total of 932 junior students were fol⁃lowed up three times with Depression Self-Rating Scale,Resilience Scale, and Adolescent Attachment Questionnaire, and the interval between each survey was one year. The latent growth mixture modeling was used to analyze the developmental trajectories of depressive symptoms.Results:①Four developmental trajectories of depressive symptoms were identified:stable-low subgroup,stable-high subgroup, decreasing subgroup, and increasing subgroup.②Compared with the stable-low subgroup, the proportion of girls in the stable-high subgroup and the decreasing subgroup was significantly higher than that of boys, while the proportion of boys in the increasing subgroup was significantly higher than that of girls.③Resilience and insecure attachment were protective and risk factors in high-risk subgroup, respectively. Conclusion:This study re⁃vealed appreciable heterogeneity in depressive symptoms among junior students.Developing resilience and secure attach⁃ment can help reduce the depression symptoms of junior students.
