摘要
文章从风土建筑与现代性入手,针对启蒙现代性和工业革命对传统风土建筑的冲击,分析工艺美术运动对现代风土建筑理论与实践的影响。首先引出工艺美术运动的历史溯源与风土传统;其次,解读理论构建者约翰·拉斯金与实践引领者威廉·莫里斯关于风土结合现代思想的延续性;结语结合现代风土建筑的理论和实践思考工艺美术运动的价值及影响,重拾其镜鉴作用。
Starting from the relationship between vernacular architecture and modernity,this paper analyzes the influence of Arts and Crafts Movement of Britain on modern vernacular architecture.Firstly,it leads to the historical discourse and the origin of vernacular architecture in the Movement.Secondly,it interprets the continuity of epistemology between John Ruskin,the theoretical builder,and William Morris,the practice leader.The conclusion reflects on the influence of the Movement in the scope of the theory of modern vernacular architecture.
