摘要
美术界对徐悲鸿的评价经历了从写实主义画家到现实主义画家的变化,究其原因,大概有四个方面:其一是徐悲鸿晚年有一些倡导现实主义美术的论述;其二是徐悲鸿有少量属于现实主义的美术作品;其三是徐悲鸿有很多作品具有现实主义精神,非常符合当时中国现实主义精神的评价标准;其四是徐悲鸿有着强烈的爱国精神。
The definition by the art circle of Xu Beihong's ideological identity as a painter has shifted between two variants of realism,i.e.,from xieshi zhuyi(写实主义)to xianshi zhuyi(现实主义).There are four main reasons that can explain this change:first,Xu engaged in discussions advocating realistic art in his later years.Second,he produced a small number of realistic artworks.Third,many of his works display the spirit of realism,which conforms to the evaluation criteria of the spirit of Chinese realism as it had been defined at that time.Fourth,he was endowed with a strong patriotic spirit.
