摘要
卞之琳接受A.C.布拉德雷注重文本事实的研究,对莎翁的《哈姆雷特》《奥瑟罗》《里亚王》进行了详尽的论述,但对布拉德雷的纯粹的文学内部研究、体验式审美和性格分析法的局限性有所批评。他秉承马克思主义的社会分析文艺观,既注重文学内部研究,也注重文学外部研究,发展了布拉德雷的莎学观。卞之琳对布拉德雷莎学观的接受、批评和发展,反映了中国学者在吸收西方莎学理论时的主体性,而非照搬照抄,盲目信从。
Accepting A.C.Bradley's Shakespearean criticism that paid attention to textual facts,Bian Zhilin exhaustively analyzed Hamlet,Othello,and King Lear,but he criticized Bradley's limitation of pure intraliterary research,experiential aesthetic criticism and character analysis.He insisted on the Marxist literary view of social analysis.He stressed not only intraliterary research,but also extraliterary research,which has greatly developed Bradley's Shakespearean criticism.Bian Zhilin's reception,criticism and development of Bradley's theory reflects the subjectivity of Chinese scholars when they accept the Western Shakespearean criticism,instead of copying it blindly.
