摘要
体用是中国哲学最重要、最具特色的范畴之一,古来即充满争论。朱子之体用思想颇为复杂,亦可反映理学家使用体用范畴之特色。如何全面理解朱子的体用论,涉及佛教传统与中国固有之思想传统,从此出发,回到朱子思想内部的形上与形下之别,可以通贯的理解朱子的体用思想。朱子言说体用,从形上言,吸收佛教传统;从形下言,则继承中国固有之思想。但因为朱子坚持理为实理,故其从形上言之体用,也区别于佛教,而可吸收传统本根论的讲法。此外,无论从形上言还是形下言,朱子均坚持见在为体、发出为用的基本观点。
Foundation its application(体用)are one of the most important and distinctive categories in Chinese philosophy,which have been full of controversy since ancient times.Zhu Xi's(朱熹)thought on foundation its application was very complex,which can also reflect the features of Neo-Confucianists in using the category of foundation and its application.How to fully understand Zhu Xi's theory on foundation its application involves Buddhist tradition and China's inherent ideological tradition.Starting from this point,we can return to the difference between above form(形上)and within form(形下)inside Zhu Xi's thought,thus getting a general understanding of his thought on foundation its application.Speaking of foundation and its application,Zhu Xi absorbed Buddhist tradition in terms of above form,and inherited China's inherent thoughts in terms of within form.However,as Zhu Xi insisted that reason(理)should be substantial reason(实理),his thought on foundation and its application in terms of above form differed from Buddhism,and he could manage to absorb the teaching of the traditional root theory(本根论).In addition,Zhu Xi insisted on his basic view that what is present(见在)is the foundation while what is presented(发出)is its application,no matter whether it was in terms of above form or within form.
