摘要
新时代文旅融合背景下,对外讲好中国故事是中华文化对外传播的重要方式。英语专业应在此背景下充分发挥本专业的人文学科属性,探索创新专业发展领域,培养经济社会发展急需的复合型人才。本文基于高等学校外国语言文学类专业教学指导委员会英语专业教学指导分委员会研究制定的《普通高等学校本科英语类专业教学指南》内容,提出文旅融合背景下地方高校英语教学要从完善专业课程建设、加强人文课程建设以及重视培养跨文化沟通能力等方面进行改革,培养“英语+旅游”类复合型英语人才。增强英语专业毕业生的就业能力,提升我国各地文化和旅游产业国际化服务软实力。
In the context of cultural and tourism integration in the new era,better telling Chinese stories to the outside world is an important way for the transformation of Chinese culture.English majors,in this context,should give full play to its humanities attributes,explore and innovative fields for professional development,and cultivate composite talents urgently needed by society.This paper,based on the content of the Teaching Guidelines for English Majors developed by the English Language Teaching(ELT)Advisory Subcommittee of the Advisory Committee for Foreign Languages and Literature Teaching in Higher Education Institutions,proposes that in the context of cultural and tourism integration,higher English education should be reformed in terms of improving the construction of professional courses,strengthening the humanities curriculum and attaching importance to the cultivation of thinking and communication skills incross-cultural context,to cultivate“English+tourism”compound type English talents.Thiswill enhance the employability of English graduates on the one hand,and improve the soft power of internationalized service in the field of culture and tourism industry in China on the other.
