摘要
如何理性看待儿童是关乎教育发展方向的重要议题。赫希基于对基础教育的长期理论和实践探索形成了偏向社会本位的儿童观,主要表现在四个方面:作为社会环境影响者的儿童;作为公共知识学习者的儿童;作为国家文化传承者的儿童;作为合格公民实现者的儿童。赫希社会本位儿童观的启示意义在于:尊重儿童的未成熟状态,重视儿童的可塑性发展;注重儿童公共知识的习得,强调公共经验的积累;关注儿童语言学习,重视学习过程中文化认同感的生发;协调自然性与公民性的张力,重视学校在公民教育中的教化作用。
How to treat children rationally is an important issue related to the development direction of education.Based on his long-term theoretical and practical exploration of basic education,Hirsch formed a society-oriented view of children.Hirsch s"society-oriented view of children"is mainly manifested in the following aspects:children as social environment influencers;Children as learners of public knowledge;Children who are the inheritors of the nation s culture;Children who are the implementers of proper citizenship.The enlightenments of Hirsch s"society-based view of children"are as follows:respecting children s immature state and paying attention to children s plastic development;paying attention to children s public knowledge acquisition and emphasizing the accumulation of public experience;paying attention to children s language learning and paying attention to the development of cultural identity in the process of learning;harmonizing the tension between naturalness and citizenship and attaching importance to the educational function of schools in civic education.
