摘要
言语交际作为达尔文生物进化的产物是一种复杂的行为形式。语用学原则/理论,包括合作原则、理性原则、关联理论、礼貌原则、面子理论等,均预设信任的存在。从进化语言学视角出发,在廓清信号交际与言语交际关系的基础上,从生物演化与社会进化的维度探究言语交际中信任的来源。研究发现,信任始于生物信号交际,后发展于人类言语交际,贯穿于两种交际之中。言语交际的信任是生物基于亲缘模仿进行亲缘识别、开展亲缘利他与互惠利他行为的生物演化结果。语言建构的社会制度与规范以及交际共享意向性也要求言语交际信任的存在。
As a product of Darwinian biological evolution,communication is a complex form of behavior.Pragmatic principles,including Cooperative Principle,Principle of Rationality,Relevance Theory,Politeness Principle,and Face-saving Theory,all presuppose the existence of trust.Based on the perspective of evolutionary linguistics,this article clarifies the relationship between signal communication and verbal communication first,and then explores the source of trust in human communication from both biological and social evolution.It finds that trust runs through signal communication and verbal communication,beginning with signal communication,and developing in verbal communication;trust in verbal communication is the outcome of biological evolution in signal communication based on kinship mimicry to identify relatives and to develop kinship altruism and reciprocal altruism;social institution and norms constructed by language and shared intentionality in verbal communication also require the existence of trust.
