摘要
环状RNA(circular RNA,circRNA)是一种共价闭合的长链非编码RNA,在真核生物中表达丰富。CircRNA具有良好的稳定性、高度保守性和组织发育特异性等特点。研究发现,circRNA是一种新的基因调控层,可通过充当微小RNA(microRNA,miRNA)“分子海绵”等方式参与基因转录及转录后的调节过程。先前的研究发现,circRNA在脑组织中高度表达,近年来研究进一步表明,circRNA对中枢神经系统(central nervous system,CNS)疾病具有重要影响。本文对circRNA这一新型分子的研究现状及其与多发性硬化(multiple sclerosis,MS)、阿尔兹海默病(Alzheimer disease,AD)、帕金森病(Parkinson disease,PD)等CNS疾病的关系的研究进展作一综述,以加深对circRNA及其与CNS疾病关系的认识。
Circular RNA(circRNA) is a covalently closed long non-coding RNA,which is abundantly expressed in eukaryotes. CircRNA has the characteristics of good stability,high conservation and tissue development specificity.Studies have found that circRNA is a new gene regulation layer,which can participate in gene transcription and posttranscriptional regulation by acting as a microRNA(miRNA)“ molecular sponge ”. Previous studies have found that circRNA was highly expressed in brain tissues. In recent years,studies have further shown that circRNA had an important impact on central nervous system(CNS) diseases. This article introduces the current research status of circRNA and summarizes the research progress of role of circRNA in multiple sclerosis(MS),Alzheimer disease(AD),Parkinson disease(PD) and other CNS diseases in order to deepen the understanding of circRNA and its relationship to CNS diseases.
