On the Temporal and Spatial Characteristics of Fashion Industry based on Life Cycle Theory

摘要 基于生命周期理论,结合2008—2019年我国时尚产业的统计数据,采用生长曲法线,分层次、分地域探究了我国时尚产业生命周期的时空特征。研究结果表明:我国时尚产业的扩展层处于成熟期,核心层与延伸层处于成长后期,未来鞋帽产业、化妆品产业、箱包产业和珠宝首饰产业将步入产业上升阶段。华北、华东和华南地区的时尚产业处于成熟期,其他区域处于形成期或成长期,未来形成期和成长期区域发展时尚产业的潜力较大。 China has become one of the largest fashion consumer markets in the world,but it lacks voice in the international fashion market.Chinese fashion industry is undergoing a transition from “Made in China” to “Designed in China”.The study on the life cycle of fashion industry is helpful to understand the current stage of Chinese fashion industry and provides reference for the fashion industry development forecasts and policy support.Based on the life cycle theory,by taking the statistics data of Chinese fashion industry from 2008 to 2019,this paper explored temporal and spatial characteristics of the life cycle of Chinese fashion industry in levels and regions through growth curve approach.The results show that the surrounding layer of Chinese fashion industry is in the mature stage,the core and extend layers are in the late stage of growth.The shoe and hat industry,cosmetics industry,luggage industry and jewelry industry will enter the rising stage in the future.The fashion industry in North China,East China and South China is in the mature stage,and other areas are in the formation or growth period.Those regions in formation and growth period own greater potential to develop fashion industry in the future.
