摘要
媒介是情感流通的渠道和形塑情感文化的社会空间。在智能手机建构的媒介环境下,作为“互联网原住民”的留守儿童,其数字实践对自身情感社会化的影响问题亟待被关注。基于安徽、江苏等地的田野调查,本文尝试从多角度探讨智能手机对留守儿童情感补偿机制的建构,并对此类补偿的局限性及留守儿童情感发展新困局进行层层剖析。研究发现:家庭氛围、教育和互动等方面的不足构成留守儿童情感的原生困境,也是推动他们向数字世界迁移并寻求情感补偿的内生动力;智能手机从连接中介、网络文化和社交资本三维度分别为留守儿童提供间接性补偿、替代性补偿和移位式补偿,此“数字代偿”机制使虚拟情境下的情感社会化成为可能。但数字代偿的程度是有限的,“不充分代偿”使生发于亲子陪伴中的依恋情感难以在虚拟场域中再造,甚至衍生出更强烈的剥夺感和“虚拟化”的情感能力等“代偿异化”现象。
Media is the channel of emotional circulation and the social space that shapes emotional culture. In the media environment constructed by smart phones, the impact of left-behind children’s digital practice on their emotional socialization needs urgent attention. Based on a field investigation in Anhui, Jiangsu province and other places, this article explores the construction of smart phones’ emotional compensation mechanism for left-behind children. It analyzes the limitations of such compensation and the new predicament of left-behind children’s emotional development.The study finds that the lack of family atmosphere, emotional education and interaction constitutes the original emotional dilemma, which is also the endogenous driving force that promotes them to migrate to the digital world and seek emotional compensation. Smartphones provide indirect compensation, alternative compensation, and displacement compensation for left-behind children from the dimensions of connecting intermediaries, network culture, and social capital. "Digital compensation" makes it possible to socialize emotions in virtual situations. However, the degree of digital compensation is limited. "Insufficient compensation" makes it difficult to recreate the attachment emotions that arise in parent-child companionship in the virtual field. The phenomenon of "alienated compensation" such as a stronger sense of deprivation and virtualized emotional capacity is derived.
