摘要
学校教育不仅需要培育学习者的"学科素养",也需要培育学习者的"跨学科素养"。这是将两门或两门以上的学科(领域)整合起来,旨在把新的知识同既有的知识、信息与体验链接起来,进而同社区生活乃至全球社会的现实课题链接起来,借以促进学习者对学习主题的基础性与实践性理解,亦即超越了单一学科范畴的深度理解的精致化教学的设计。本文选择当今国际教育界公认的跨学科教学设计的典型——美国的STEAM和日本的"综合学习",旨在探讨其由来与发展、特质与价值、经验与启示。
School education needs to cultivate not only learners’ disciplinary accomplishments, but also interdisciplinary accomplishments. This is the integration of two or multiple disciplines(fields), aiming to link new knowledge with existing knowledge, information and experience, and further bridge it with practical topics from community life to global society, so as to promote learners’ basic and practical understanding of learning topics. It is the exquisite teaching design that surpass the in-depth understanding of a single discipline. This article takes STEAM education in the United States and “Integrative Learning” in Japan for instances, which are recognized as typical examples of integrative instructional design in international circle of educational institutes, in order to explore its origin and development, characteristics and value, experience and enlightenment.
