于右任(1879年4月11日-1964年11月10日),汉族,陕西三原人,祖籍泾阳斗口于村,中国近现代政治家、教育家、书法家。平民出身让于右任有一颗感同身受的平民之心,不论如何颠沛,不论时世维艰,不论地位变化,他的心始终贴近广大贫苦群众。每次回三原老家,他总是详细了解左邻右舍和一些穷亲朋的生活境况,并叫家人去送些款物。他衣着简朴,经常穿一件灰布大袍子、布鞋布袜子,饮食平常小米饭、红豆稀粥、黄菜等就是一餐;他一生没给家里买过一亩地、盖过一间房,对赈灾济民,扶贫帮困却不惜余力。
Coming from humble beginnings,Yu Youren sympathized with other commoners.No matter what circumstances were thrown at him,his heart was always close to the poor masses.Yu Youren always followed the motto"A just cause should be pursued for the common good".He never bought personal property.He often disregarded personal gains and losses;scrimping and saving when possible in order to offer what he could to the people.He always put the interests of the country and the nation before his own.
